Salary/Pay Rate/Compensation: $15 - $18 per hour

Shift: 8-hour shift to be scheduled between the hours of 8am and 8pm

What’s a typical day as a Customer Service Advocate You’ll be:

  • Providing prompt, accurate, thorough, and courteous responses to all customer inquiries—via phone, written communication, web, or in-person.

  • Handling both routine and non-routine inquiries, including those requiring extensive research or deviation from standard procedures.

  • Accurately documenting all customer interactions and inquiries.

  • Initiating or processing adjustments and coordinating with other departments to resolve customer issues.

  • Responding to and assisting with priority inquiries and management-designated special projects.

  • Maintaining accurate records and reporting on complaints, customer comments, and recommendations for process improvements.

  • Following departmental productivity, quality, and timeliness standards.

  • Assisting with the training and cross-training of new and existing employees.

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:

  • Have at least 1 year of prior experience in customer service, call center, claims management, or a related field (must have).

  • Possess strong communication, problem-solving, and documentation skills.

  • Can work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

  • Have strong computer skills and familiarity with MS Office Products and using dual monitors.

  • Are detail-oriented and able to maintain accurate records.

  • Have open availability to work an 8-hour shift between the hours of 8am and 8pm.

  • Are open to cross-training and supporting process improvements.

  • Are able to work onsite at the client location in Columbia, SC.
